Short version: your pasted conversations never leave your browser. There is no signup, no content database, and no human review of what you paste. Last updated: .
Handoff generation runs 100% in your browser via local parsing. When you paste a ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini thread and click Generate, the text is analyzed by JavaScript on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers — there is no endpoint that receives your content.
An optional copy of your last result may live in your own browser's localStorage for ~24 hours so a reload doesn't lose it. Clearing site data removes it. Theme preference (aichatcarry:theme) is also stored locally only.
If you use the Public link tab, your browser fetches the public share URL directly to extract readable text. If a page blocks readers or the link is private/expired, you'll get guidance to copy-paste the text instead. We never proxy or store fetched link content server-side.
Like any static site, our host (CDN) may see standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, requested page — for delivery and abuse prevention. We don't combine this with content, because content never reaches us. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which applies its own policy.
The tool masks API-key-like strings and emails with [redacted] before output. Redaction is best-effort pattern matching, not a guarantee. Always review a handoff before pasting it anywhere, and strip private files or credentials yourself.
When you paste a handoff into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, or another assistant, that assistant's own policies apply from there. The same goes for the contact form — anything you email us is handled as correspondence (see Terms).
AIChatCarry is a general-purpose productivity tool not directed at children under 13. Don't paste a child's personal data into the tool — or anywhere else.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and note it here. Questions? Contact us — we reply within 2 business days.
